Lettuce Zanardi

Zanardi is an early variety of salad of the Bibb leaf type, belonging to the romaine group with red leaf coloration. The leaves are oval-round in shape with a thin petiole, possessing a uniform red color without colored spots at the base, which gives the salad an attractive and decorative look. The vertical leaf rosette consists of narrow, small leaves, which makes this variety especially valuable for preparing salad mixes and culinary dishes.

The Zanardi variety is distinguished by high yield and is suitable for cultivation both in open and protected ground from spring to autumn. It is recommended for mechanized harvest collection, which facilitates the cultivation and harvesting process. Due to the tender texture of the leaves and excellent quality indicators regarding shape, color, and shelf life, this salad belongs to the premium segment of products for the fresh market.

The variety producer is the company Rijk Zwaan from the Netherlands, which guarantees high seed quality. The package contains 100,000 seeds, which allows for effective seeding planning. Zanardi is ideal for use in fresh salad mixes, providing an attractive appearance and excellent taste of finished dishes.
