Orienta F1 is an extremely early, high-yielding hybrid of white cabbage, developed by Agri Saaten from Germany. The vegetation period is approximately 50 days from transplanting seedlings into the soil. The heads have an ideally round shape, dense structure, and dark green leaves. The average fruit weight ranges from 1.2 to 1.5 kg, with heads distinguished by uniformity and compactness, ensuring their attractive appearance and ease of handling.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to diseases such as black rot and fusarium, significantly increasing crop reliability. The leaves are thin and tender with a waxy coating, and the inner part of the head is snow-white with a very small core. The root system is well-developed, contributing to plant stability and efficient nutrient uptake. Orienta F1 is recommended for cultivation under cover — using plastic film, agrofiber, or in greenhouses, which allows maximum yield potential to be realized.
