Description ZADOR
Salad Zador is an early-maturing leaf lettuce variety suitable for cultivation in both open and protected ground. The plant forms a large rosette of leaves up to 40 cm in diameter and about 30 cm in height. The leaves are fan-shaped, slightly blistered with a wavy toothed edge, light green in color, tender and oily in taste. Due to its resistance to bolting and rapid growth regardless of day length, this variety is popular among gardeners.

Growing salad Zador requires adherence to certain agrotechnical methods. Seeds are sown in April in wide rows with 60-70 cm spacing between rows at a depth of 1.5-2 cm, followed by soil rolling. When dense seedlings appear, thinning is done twice: first at the stage of one true leaf with a distance between plants of 5-7 cm, and then one and a half months after sowing, leaving 15-20 cm between plants. Care for the culture includes loosening the inter-row spaces and watering by furrows, while avoiding water falling on the leaves.

Salad Zador is distinguished by excellent taste qualities and high nutritional value. Leaves are recommended for use fresh, as well as for making salads and appetizers. The optimal time for harvesting greens is early morning or evening, when the maximum concentration of vitamins and beneficial substances is achieved in the leaves. Thanks to its juiciness, crisp texture, and tender taste, this variety will be a useful and tasty addition to the daily diet.
