Lettuce BOHO

Professional Choice for Early Production

The «Boho» lettuce variety, developed by VNIISSOK, is engineered for agricultural producers aiming for a high-quality, market-ready product with minimal downtime. Known for its intense red color and early maturity, it fits perfectly into high-intensity cropping schedules where maximizing land turnover is a priority.

Field Performance and Disease Resistance

The primary value of «Boho» lies in its biological resilience. With proven resistance to downy mildew and lettuce mosaic virus, producers can significantly reduce the necessity for intensive fungicide applications. This is a critical advantage for operations aiming to minimize production costs and ensure a clean, marketable harvest, regardless of fluctuations in greenhouse humidity or open-field weather conditions.

Practical Scenarios for Operations

• For Fresh Market Suppliers: The striking red color ensures shelf-appeal, making it an excellent component for retail salad mixes.
• For Commercial Greenhouses: Its rapid cycle allows for precise crop rotation, ensuring a consistent supply to retailers throughout the season.
• Risk Management: The built-in resistance to major viral and fungal threats offers a safety net for farmers operating in regions where pathogen pressure is typically high.

By integrating «Boho» into your planting schedule, you are selecting a variety that combines visual excellence with agronomic stability, reducing labor and input costs while delivering a consistently premium product.
