Verodita

Verodita lettuce is a late semi-heading lettuce variety of the Romaine type, developed by Dutch breeders from companies Enza Zaden and Rijk Zwaan. This variety is characterized by its adaptability and stress resistance, tolerating high temperatures and climatic fluctuations, making it suitable for year-round cultivation in open and protected ground in all agroclimatic zones of Ukraine. Verodita forms heads weighing up to 500 grams with compact, shiny, dark green leaves with curly edges that do not curl due to strong leaf ribs.

The plant is mainly grown using seedlings; seeds are sown in trays, ensuring high-quality seedlings and a high yield within 70-75 days after planting. The lettuce has a pleasant sweet flavor and an interesting leaf structure, which retains its shape well and is suitable for mechanical harvesting without damage. Verodita is resistant to internal necrosis and fungal diseases, enhancing its reliability and crop quality.

This lettuce variety is widely used in culinary applications for fresh salads, appetizers, sandwiches, as well as for garnishing meat and fish dishes. Thanks to its crisp texture and rich flavor, Verodita lettuce is ideal for salad mixes and various gastronomic solutions. Seeds are supplied in pellet form, packaged in quantities of 1000 and 5000 pieces, convenient for various cultivation scales.
