The Oلميتي lettuce represents a light green variety of Batavia, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. This early-maturing semi-head variety is characterized by very rapid growth and high resistance to bolting and the development of necrosis, ensuring stable crop quality. The leaves are large, round-flat, bubbly with a wavy edge, have a crisp texture and a pleasant taste. The rosette is semi-erect, reaching a height of about 30 cm and a diameter of up to 40 cm, with a rosette mass of approximately 120 grams. The head is open, of medium density, and elongated oval shape.
Oلميتي tolerates intensive growing conditions well, including high temperatures, bright light, and abundant nutrition, which contributes to increased yield both in terms of the total number of plants and the mass of each plant. The variety's yield reaches 2.2 kg per square meter, making it attractive for commercial cultivation.
