Lettuce SUMOIST

The Sumoist lettuce is a mid-season heading variety that matures in 54-67 days and is suitable for cultivation in both open and protected ground. This variety has a large, semi-erect leaf rosette; the leaves are broadly round, light green with a yellowish tint, have a blistered-convex surface and wavy edges. The head of Sumoist is round-oval, dense, weighing from 350 to 450 grams, light green in color with an inner light yellow-green coloring. The head texture is crisp, and the taste is of excellent quality. The commercial yield of the variety ranges from 2.5 to 4.5 kilograms per square meter. Sumoist is distinguished by high resistance to various diseases such as rots, septoria, and bacteriosis, which significantly facilitates its cultivation and improves crop quality. The variety is particularly notable for its resistance to bolting and a long period of marketability of the head, which allows maintaining freshness and commercial appearance both in the field and after cutting. Sumoist lettuce is recommended for fresh consumption, as well as for preparing various salads and dishes. Due to its taste qualities and crisp texture, it is excellent for use in the food industry and in kitchens. Seeds of this variety are produced by the Agrofirm SeDeK, which guarantees their quality and compliance with agronomic standards.
