Lettuce BERLIN YELLOW

Berlin Yellow salad is a mid-season headed variety recommended for cultivation both in open ground and in polyethylene greenhouses. The vegetative period from seedling emergence to technical maturity is 60-70 days. The head of this variety is round, closed, loose, with a diameter of about 9 cm and a height of approximately 10 cm, with a mass varying from 104 to 200 grams. The lettuce leaves have a yellowish-green hue, they are very wavy, delicate, oily, and possess a slightly sweet taste. This variety is distinguished by its high marketability and long period of economic viability, which makes it convenient for storage and transportation. The lettuce leaves are quite large — up to 18 cm long and up to 22 cm wide, with soft veins, giving the plant pleasant taste qualities. Thanks to its rich vitamin content, the salad is recommended for consumption fresh, which helps maintain health and dietary diversity. Berlin Yellow is versatile in use, most often used for preparing various salads and other culinary dishes. The variety is resistant to premature bolting, which ensures a stable yield during the summer period. Its delicate taste and oily texture make this salad a popular choice among gardeners and healthy eating enthusiasts.
