Kerafin is a multi-leaf red oak-leaved Salanova-type lettuce intended for cultivation both in open-field hydroponics and in open ground. The lettuce leaves have a beautiful shape with a wavy edge, bright reddish coloration with strong anthocyanin pigmentation, and contrast in leaf blade length. The leaves are of medium size, reverse-triangular in shape, with rare cuts in the top part, weakly vesiculate and weakly wavy at the edge, which gives the lettuce an attractive appearance and high uniformity when cut.
The leaf rosette is semi-erect, about 15 cm high and 18 cm in diameter. The head is semi-head, open, flat-round, of medium density, and weighs approximately 270 grams. The leaf tissue has an oily consistency, which ensures a pleasant taste and texture. The variety is medium-early, with a yield of about 2.0 kg per square meter. Kerafin is distinguished by high resistance to necrosis, flowering, and bolting, which makes it a reliable choice for cultivation in various conditions.
Due to its characteristics, Kerafin is suitable for cultivation in personal subsidiary holdings and commercial greenhouses. Its bright color and attractive leaf shape make the lettuce in demand for fresh consumption and use in cooking. High resistance to adverse factors and product uniformity ensure a stable and quality harvest.
