Lettuce FRILLREDD

Frillredd is a type of iceberg lettuce variety that is characterized by its attractive appearance and high taste qualities. The leaves at the base are green, gradually transitioning to dark red, with a dense structure and deep notches along the edges. They form a dense rosette weighing from 200 to 300 grams, with a diameter of about 16 cm and a height of up to 20 cm. The leaves have a crunchy and juicy consistency, which gives the salad an excellent taste and makes it particularly appealing to consumers.

Frillredd lettuce is characterized by high resistance to bolting and retains its marketable appearance both on the plant and after harvest. Thanks to the dense bubbly-wavy leaves with eye-catching red "ruffles", this variety not only garnishes dishes but also has a unique biochemical composition, making it beneficial for health. The yield of the variety reaches 1.8 kg per square meter, which allows for a stable and quality harvest.

For successful cultivation of Frillredd lettuce, it is recommended to use seeds for planting in open and protected ground. Sowing can be carried out from April to July with an interval of 10-15 days for continuous harvest. To form a quality rosette, regular and moderate watering is necessary, which contributes to the development of dense and juicy leaves. This variety will be an excellent choice for those who value the combination of beauty, taste, and beneficial properties in leafy salads.
