The Sideral salad is a mid-season type of romaine with a period from germination to the beginning of commercial readiness of about 67 days. The plant reaches a height of 25 cm and a diameter of 30 cm, forming an attractive head with a compact stalk and an average weight of about 500 grams. The salad leaves have a medium size, a medium-elliptical shape, and a yellowish-green color without anthocyanin, with a beautiful smooth and dense green leaf blade. The head is narrowly elliptical, dense, characterized by high density and large size, which ensures resistance to curling during field storage.

The Sideral variety has high resistance to bolting and edge burns, which makes it a reliable choice for growing in various conditions. Thanks to these qualities, the salad is excellent for both processing and implementation in retail networks. The average yield of the variety is about 5.7 kg per square meter, and the tasting score reaches 4.9 points, indicating high quality and taste characteristics of the product.

The Sideral salad was bred and registered by the originator NUNHEMS B.V. and recommended for growing in the Central region. Its attractive appearance, high head density, and resistance to adverse factors make this variety in demand among producers and consumers, ensuring a stable and quality harvest.
