Lettuce CANADGIO

Efficiency and Quality with «Canaggio»

Syngenta’s «Canaggio» lettuce is a high-performance choice for modern commercial growers. Combining the classic appeal of a butterhead type with the innovative Multyleaf structure, this hybrid is engineered for both efficiency in the field and excellence in the supply chain.

Why «Canaggio» stands out

In the competitive fresh produce market, speed and reliability are paramount. «Canaggio» provides a consistent, medium-sized head with an intense green color, making it visually striking and commercially viable for high-end retail packaging.

• Disease Resistance: Developed by Swiss experts, this hybrid boasts strong resistance to Downy Mildew and Fusarium wilt, drastically reducing the need for intensive chemical applications and ensuring a cleaner harvest.
• Processing Advantages: As a Multyleaf variety, it is a game-changer for salad processors. It offers high leaf yield per head, which saves significant labor time during trimming and sorting.
• Flavor Profile: Despite its industrial-grade hardiness, the leaf maintains the delicate, buttery texture and mild flavor that consumers expect from premium lettuce.

For growers focusing on profitability and market consistency, «Canaggio» offers a stable, disease-resistant, and high-yield solution. Whether you are supplying retail chains or specialized salad producers, this Syngenta hybrid delivers the reliability required in today’s demanding agricultural environment.
