Lettuce MEDALIST

The MEDALIST lettuce variety is a mid-season leaf crop with plants standing 20 to 25 cm tall and a diameter of up to 20-27 cm. The leaves of this variety are light green, strongly ruffled, and possess a crisp texture, giving the lettuce an attractive appearance and pleasant tactile sensations upon consumption. The taste of the lettuce is rated as excellent, making it in demand for fresh salads and other culinary dishes.

The mass of a single plant reaches approximately 300 grams, which allows for high yields — up to 3 kg per square meter. Such indicators make the MEDALIST variety profitable for cultivation both in personal holdings and for commercial purposes. The mid-season nature of the variety ensures optimal ripening time, which is convenient for harvest planning.

This variety was included in the state register for the Volga-Vyatka region in 2023 and was developed by LLC "Vashe Khozyaistvo" under the leadership of breeder Andrey Vasilievich Kudryashov. Thanks to its characteristics, the MEDALIST lettuce is an excellent choice for those who value quality, taste, and high productivity of leaf crops.
