Larsia

Larsia F1 cabbage is a mid-season, high-yielding hybrid of white cabbage developed by the Dutch company Seminis. The maturity period is 115-120 days, but due to its excellent commercial qualities and taste characteristics, harvesting can begin as early as 80 days after planting. The plant forms a strong bush with round-oval heads, characterized by dense structure, light green color with a white inner part and short stem. The average head weight ranges from 4 to 6 kg, and under optimal conditions may reach 8 kg. Larsia F1 cabbage exhibits high resistance to adverse weather conditions and universal adaptability, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine. The plant prefers neutral soils and does not require special care, only standard agronomic practices for white cabbage. Sowing can be done either directly or via seedlings. The heads have thin, dark green outer leaves with a waxy coating and slight waviness, which contributes to good storage and transport without additional measures. The primary use of Larsia F1 cabbage is processing, especially pickling and salting, as well as short-term storage up to 4 months. The hybrid is characterized by high dry matter content, which enhances taste quality and preserves the commercial appearance of the heads. The recommended sowing rate is 30-40 thousand seeds per hectare, with seeds supplied in packages of 2500 seeds, ready for planting. Due to its characteristics, Larsia F1 cabbage is one of the best choices for farmers and gardeners aiming for quality and stable yields.
