Lettuce LYRIS

Lyris is a leaf lettuce variety of medium maturity, intended for cultivation in garden and vegetable plots, as well as in winter block greenhouses on low-volume culture. The leaf rosette of this variety is semi-erect, reaching a height of 19 cm and a diameter of 36 cm, while the rosette weight is about 240 grams. The leaves are of medium size, light green in color, bean-shaped with a vesicular and strongly wavy edge structure. The leaf texture is oily, which gives them a pleasant taste and makes the salad especially attractive for use in fresh dishes.

A feature of the Lyris variety is the increased content of vitamin E (tocopherol), which gives the leaves an oily surface. This vitamin has pronounced anti-inflammatory, anti-platelet, and vasodilating properties, and is also considered a cardioprotector, which makes the salad not only tasty but also healthy. Thanks to these qualities, Lyris is excellent for making fresh salads, sandwiches, and forming rolls.

The yield of the variety on low-volume culture reaches 5.8 kg per square meter, which indicates its high productivity. Lyris is included in the State Register of the Russian Federation and is recommended for cultivation in personal subsidiary holdings. This salad will be an excellent choice for those who value the combination of taste, health benefits, and ease of cultivation in various conditions.
