Lettuce Luberon

Luberon lettuce is a type of Lollo Rosso with very intense dark burgundy leaf color, giving it an attractive and decorative appearance. The plant forms open rosettes of medium-sized leaves with a three-lobed shape, characteristic of this type of lettuce. Due to its vibrant color, this variety is ideal for use in fresh salads and other culinary dishes where both taste and visual appeal are important.

Luberon lettuce has an early maturity period, allowing it to be grown during spring, summer, and autumn seasons. It adapts well to both open ground and greenhouse conditions, making it a versatile choice for various climate zones and cultivation methods. This flexibility enables harvests throughout different seasons, ensuring a steady supply of fresh greens.

One of the key features of this variety is its resistance to lettuce powdery mildew, including races 1-16, 19, 21, and 23. This significantly reduces the risk of disease and crop loss, simplifies plant care, and enhances plant viability. Thanks to these qualities, Luberon lettuce is a reliable and attractive option for gardeners and farmers aiming to produce high-quality and visually appealing products.
