Lettuce Exact

Consistent Yields Through Superior Genetics

The Exact lettuce variety by Rijk Zwaan represents the gold standard for growers seeking a balance between high yield potential and robust plant health. In today’s competitive market, where environmental stress and disease pressure are constant challenges, this hybrid offers a reliable solution for both indoor and outdoor cultivation.

Engineered for Resilience

What sets Exact apart from many other lettuce varieties is its comprehensive resistance package. By minimizing the risk of crop loss, it allows growers to optimize their spray programs and focus on maximizing quality. Key resistance traits include:

• Fusarium wilt: The hybrid shows remarkable resistance to soil-borne pathogens, essential for farms with intensive rotation schedules.
• Powdery mildew: Strong field tolerance reduces the need for fungicide interventions, keeping production costs in check.
• Cucumber mosaic virus: Exceptional immunity ensures the crop reaches full maturity without stunted growth or compromised quality.

Performance and Marketability

Exact stands out for its consistent, vibrant green color and uniform head formation. For those supplying fresh produce markets, this uniformity is a game-changer, simplifying harvesting, grading, and packaging processes. Retailers value the extended shelf-life and crisp texture that the Exact variety maintains, even after transit.

This hybrid is perfectly suited for professional growers who demand predictability. Whether you are operating high-tech greenhouses or traditional fields, the genetics of Rijk Zwaan ensure that Exact delivers a marketable product that meets consumer expectations for freshness and appearance. It is a robust, low-stress addition to any production cycle that prioritizes efficiency and quality.
