BARDOVSKIY FESTIVAL

Eggplant variety "Bar dovskiy festival" is a high-yielding early-maturing hybrid characterized by a strong, semi-spreading, and densely leafy bush. The fruits of this variety are very dense and heavy, reaching a mass of up to 800-900 grams. At technical maturity, they have a rich purple color with greenish flesh and do not possess bitterness. A feature of the hybrid is the rare presence of spines, which facilitates care and harvest collection.

This variety is characterized by high ecological plasticity and stable yield output, which allows successful cultivation in various climatic conditions, including Siberia, Urals, and northwestern regions. The eggplant is resistant to pests and diseases, which additionally increases its reliability and attractiveness for gardeners. Thanks to the high taste qualities of the fruits, it is popular both for greenhouse cultivation and open ground.

For successful cultivation of "Bar dovskiy festival", it is recommended to observe certain agrotechnical techniques. Seeds are sown for seedlings in February-March at a depth of 1.5-2 cm, and are transplanted in the phase of the second true leaf. Transplanting into greenhouses is carried out at an age of 60-70 days, starting from mid-May, and into open ground in June after the threat of return frosts. During the formation of the plant, side shoots and leaves up to the first fork must be removed, and by the end of July, 5-6 of the largest fruits should be left on the bush, removing the remaining flowers and fruits. Further care includes regular fertilizing, watering, and soil loosening.
