Lettuce Cornelianas

Consistent Yields Without Surprises

When working with Cornelianas lettuce from Rijk Zwaan, you quickly realize you are dealing with a predictable product. The vibrant green color of the head looks textbook in the field, and the marketability is one of the standout features of this variety.

Robust Protection Against Pathogens

The worst part of growing leafy greens is an unexpected infection. Cornelianas provides a necessary safety margin. It demonstrates high resistance to major threats: root rot, downy mildew, and lettuce mosaic virus. In intensive production, this translates to savings on fungicides and the confidence that your crops won’t fail just days before harvest. Fewer applications mean cleaner produce and a lower cost of production.

Efficiency and Results

This Dutch variety from Rijk Zwaan adapts perfectly to both open-field and greenhouse conditions. The plant forms a dense, attractive rosette that is easy to harvest without requiring excessive manual handling. Stability is an operator's greatest asset: you know you will receive a uniform product that retailers and markets are eager to accept. If your goal is to minimize risk and achieve a reliable result, Cornelianas remains one of the most rational choices in the segment.
