Field Performance and Operational Experience

For an farm operator, the main advantage of "Mentor" is its reliability. It establishes quickly and creates a dense sward that is remarkably easy to manage. During harvest, the uniformity of the plant stand ensures that your mowing and baling equipment operates smoothly, reducing downtime and optimizing fuel consumption per ton of biomass harvested.

Why Choose Mentor Bromegrass?

• Superior Regrowth: This variety shows impressive recovery rates after cutting, allowing for multiple harvests per season without thinning the stand.
• Hardiness: With its robust German genetics, "Mentor" maintains its stand density even under challenging weather conditions, reducing the need for costly overseeding.
• Nutritional Balance: It provides an ideal ratio of protein and fiber, ensuring that the harvested haylage or pasture forage directly contributes to higher livestock productivity.

Maintenance is straightforward: while the variety responds exceptionally well to nutrient management, it does not require excessive intervention. The durability of the root system and the strength of the stems mean that the crop stays productive over many years, proving its cost-effectiveness through high yields and long-term viability in your rotation. Whether you are dealing with hay production or intensive grazing, "Mentor" offers the professional standard required for modern livestock farming.
