Arugula SUMMER FRESHNESS

Growing Experience: Aelita's "Letnyaya Svezhest" (Summer Freshness)

When it comes to early greens in the garden, this cultivar from Agrofirma Aelita is a staple solution. Working with it is straightforward: the culture requires no specialized skills but is highly responsive to irrigation.

Agronomic Traits and Yield

"Letnyaya Svezhest" quickly builds up green mass, allowing for conveyor-belt planting. The stated yield of 2.0–2.5 kg per square meter is a realistic figure, provided you maintain proper planting density and regular soil moisture. If water is scarce, the leaves become tough and lose their characteristic pungency.

Taste Profile and Usage

The defining feature of this Eruca sativa is its pronounced spicy flavor, which salad and green smoothie enthusiasts expect from high-quality arugula. When fresh, the leaves are juicy with a vibrant nutty-mustard finish. Its use is strictly limited to fresh consumption — it is far too delicate for heat treatment.

• Growth Rate: Early-maturing, which is critical for spring menus.
• Care: Requires no complex technical interventions; consistent moisture control is enough.
• Productivity: Stable yield output of 2.0–2.5 kg/sq. m.

If you are looking for a reliable variety that delivers the expected zest and rapid growth, "Letnyaya Svezhest" by Aelita is a logical choice for any kitchen garden.
