Description
SAN REMO – an annual early-maturing herbaceous plant from the brassica family, which grows quickly and is ready for harvesting greens just 20‑24 days after sowing. Thanks to its unusual spicy taste and rich content of useful substances, it becomes a popular choice for salads, side dishes, sauces, and first courses.
Growing SAN REMO is convenient both in open ground and in pot cultures on a windowsill or in balcony containers. Sowing in pots can be started in March, and in balcony boxes – in April. Regular transplanting and fertilizing allow maintaining yield throughout the season.
The mass of one rosette is 18‑20 grams, and the total yield of greens reaches up to 1.3 kg/m². This makes the plant valuable both for home consumption and for small-scale commercial growing.
