The new sorrel variety «Lose Weight Tasting» features an extended vegetative period – 70 days until flowering, allowing for fresh greens almost throughout the season. Harvesting can begin as early as two weeks after planting, gradually thinning the crops to achieve optimal density. Thanks to this long growth phase, the yield reaches approximately 2.5 kg/m².
The leaves of this variety are large and deeply lobed, retaining a bright green color and possessing a characteristic mustard-nut flavor with a slight spiciness. Their aromatic profile makes sorrel «Lose Weight Tasting» ideal for salads, as well as a side dish for meat and fish dishes.
For successful cultivation, timely watering, regular weeding, soil loosening, and fertilization are required. By adhering to these simple rules, plants develop a large, high rosette weighing 25–30 g, and leaves maintain a delicate taste until harvest.
