Transportable Muscat is a medium-late maturing grape variety, characterized by a period of about 136 days from bud break to full berry ripening with a sum of active temperatures of 2863°C. Bushes have medium to above-average vigor, with leaves of medium size, rounded and five-lobed, dark green in color with a netted-wrinkled surface and sparse web-like hairs on the underside. Flowers are perfect, which promotes good pollination and crop formation. Bunches are cylinder-conical in shape, medium or large, loose or medium density, and berries are large, oval, yellowish-green or golden with firm medium-thickness skin and fleshy pulp. The berry taste is pleasant, with a subtle muscat-lemon aroma, making the grape especially attractive for fresh consumption.
The variety is distinguished by good resistance to fungal diseases such as downy mildew, powdery mildew, and gray rot, as well as minimal damage from the grape leafroller. The budhardiness of Transportable Muscat is relatively high, which ensures reliable cultivation in various climatic conditions. The yield of the variety ranges from 120 to 140 centners per hectare, indicating its high productivity.
The Transportable Muscat grape is widely used for fresh consumption thanks to its taste qualities and good berry transportability. Large, dense berries with muscat aroma and fleshy pulp make this variety in demand both among gardeners and in the market. It is recommended for cultivation in regions with suitable climatic conditions, where optimal care and disease protection can be ensured to obtain stable and quality crops.
