Description Rodnichok
Rodnichok grape variety is a table type with a ripening period of about 140 days, classified as mid-late or very late ripening depending on the source. The vines have medium growth vigor, and the clusters are cylindrical-conical, winged, medium to large in size, with a weight of about 211 grams and medium density. Berries are round, white or yellow in color, medium in size (approximately 14.9x13.8 mm), weighing about 2.1 grams, with firm skin and juicy flesh. The flavor is simple with a muscat aftertaste, and the flesh is firm and crisp, making the grapes attractive for fresh consumption.

The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 5 to 7 kilograms of berries can be harvested from one vine. Shoot maturation is satisfactory, with fruiting rate of 79-88%, and on average 1.75 clusters form per shoot. The recommended vine load is 30-35 buds, with pruning of fruiting canes at 3-4 buds. Rodnichok has good market appeal and transportability, allowing it to maintain berry quality during transport and storage.

A notable feature of the variety is its high resistance to adverse conditions: frost tolerance up to -24°C, and resistance to mildew and oidium at level 3. Thanks to these characteristics, Rodnichok is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones. The grapes are used both fresh and for making white table wines and juices, expanding its application possibilities.
