Memory of the Heavenly Hundred is a high-yielding early-ripening grape variety that reaches maturity at the end of July to the beginning of August. The vines are vigorous, with strong growth and high fruiting capacity, requiring yield regulation to prevent overloading. Bunches are large, conical in shape, medium to loose density, weighing 600 to 1200 grams. Berries are large, oval or egg-shaped, black or dark-blue in color with a dense bloom, weighing 12–16 grams, nearly uniform in size, giving the bunch an aesthetic and neat appearance.
The flesh is firm, crisp, juicy, and fleshy, with a harmonious flavor characterized by a good balance of sugar and acidity. The juice sugar content is 21–26%, making the flavor rich and pleasant, reminiscent of mature Moldovan grapes. Each berry contains 2–3 medium seeds, and the fruit color develops uniformly and quickly, within two weeks. The flowering is functional-female type, with good pollination and minimal berry shattering.
The variety is highly resistant to major grape diseases such as mildew, oidium, and gray mold, provided that preventive treatments with systemic agents are carried out. The variety’s frost resistance is approximately up to –24°C, allowing it to be grown in temperate climates, such as the Kyiv region. Due to its excellent taste, early ripening, and high yield, the Memory of the Heavenly Hundred grape variety is rightfully valued by grape growers.
