Description
The 'Friendship' grape variety is a universal and super-early variety, known for its high resistance to diseases and frost resistance up to -23°C. It ripens around August 20 on average, which is 10-15 days earlier than many other varieties, making it attractive for cultivation in various climatic conditions. The clusters are of medium size, cylindrical-conical, with moderate density, and weigh about 280 grams.
The berries of the 'Friendship' variety are large, round, white, measuring approximately 22 by 23 mm and weighing about 4 grams. The flesh is fleshy and juicy, with a pleasant harmonious taste and citron-musk aroma, giving the berries special appeal. Low acidity and high sugar content make this grape ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for the production of juices, white wines, semi-sweet, and sparkling wines.
The variety shows increased resistance to diseases such as mildew and gray rot, reducing the need for frequent treatments and easing plant care. Depending on the growing region, only 1-2 sprays against mildew are required, while oidium treatment is carried out within normal timeframes. Thanks to its qualities and universality, the 'Friendship' grape is suitable for both experienced viticulturists and beginners, ensuring a stable and quality harvest.
