Kharkovskiy 74 pea variety is a mid-early and ultra-early hybrid, recommended for cultivation in steppe, forest-steppe, and Polissia regions. Plants reach a height of 40 to 69 cm, have a simple bluish-green stem with 13-17 internodes and three pairs of entire, egg-shaped leaflets. Flowers are white, and pods are straight or moderately curved, up to 5.5 cm long with a pointed tip, containing on average 5-6 yellow, round seeds with a 1000-seed weight of up to 281 g.
