TJANEM-POTJANEM – a new, undemanding mid-early variety of daikon, which can be consumed just 56‑60 days after germination. The roots of this variety are uniform, measuring 30 to 40 cm in length and weighing 250–350 g, making them ideal for preparing various dishes.
The daikon flesh is tender and juicy, offering an excellent flavor without spiciness. Thanks to this, the roots can be eaten as a standalone fresh dish or used as an ingredient for salads, boiling, stewing, pickling, and salting. The plant's leaves are also edible – they are rich in vitamins and fiber.
The variety is resistant to bolting, which increases its yield: up to 7–8 kg/m². TJANEM-POTJANEM daikon is particularly valuable for those who watch their figure or want to lose weight, thanks to its low calorie content and high fiber level.
