Astor

ASTOR – a mid-early variety of daikon that grows quickly and is ready for harvesting within 50–85 days after sowing. The root crop is characterized by a long cylindrical shape (30–45 cm), smooth white skin, and translucent white flesh, giving it a delicate taste.

The variety is resistant to bolting, ensuring a more uniform root structure. The mass of one fruit ranges from 0.7 to 1.2 kg, and the yield reaches 6–10 kg/m² under optimal growing conditions. The recommended distance between plants is 30 cm in length and 15 cm in width, which allows for effective use of ridges.

ASTOR is ideal for fresh consumption and short-term storage. Due to its structure and taste, it pairs well in salads and various dishes while maintaining its aroma and texture.
