Ukrayinka blackcurrant variety is a high-yielding and adaptable shrub to various climatic conditions, widely used both for producing tasty berries and decorative purposes. This variety is characterized by good resistance to fungal diseases, significantly simplifying care and increasing crop reliability. The berries are black, glossy, with dry detachment, have an excellent sweet taste, and reach up to 4 grams in weight. Fruit ripening occurs early, typically from July 10 to 15, allowing harvest at the beginning of the season. Planting holes should be about 40 cm deep and wide, filled with cow manure and ammonium nitrate to provide nutrients. Roots should be dipped in clay slurry before planting, and seedlings should be planted at a 45-degree angle, promoting better rooting and growth.

Care for Ukrainian blackcurrant includes regular watering, weeding, fertilizing, and pruning, which contribute to forming healthy and robust shrubs. The plant grows well on various soil types, including fertile and moderately fertile soils, making it versatile for cultivation in Ukraine and other CIS countries. To enhance yield, it is recommended to plant companion blackcurrant bushes, which improve pollination and promote more abundant fruiting.
