Description Poetry (Delicate)
Medium-maturing variety, obtained at Pavlovsk Experimental Station of the VNI Росселекция named after N.I. Vavilov from crossing the varieties Mi-nay Shmyrev and Ojebyn. Authors: E.V. Volodina, S.P. Khotimskaya, O.A. Tikhonova, T.V. Arsenyeva, G.I. Galieva. Included in the State Register of varieties approved for use in the Northwestern region since 1995.

The bush is fairly tall and semi-arching. Growing shoots are thick, smooth, green, with weak anthocyanic coloring at the base. Woody shoots of medium thickness, with slight thinning toward the tip, brownish-brown, with a brown tip, straight or slightly curved, weakly hairy (with denser hairs at the shoot tip). Buds are single, medium or small, egg-shaped or conical, with a sharp tip, often asymmetrical, flat on the inner side, pressed against the shoot, more divergent at the lower part of the shoot. Apical bud is non-free, cylindrical, with a pointed tip, hairy. Leaf scars are round.

Leaf is five-lobed, medium-sized, green, with weak gloss, slightly wrinkled, sometimes blistered or folded, fairly soft. Hairiness along the veins on upper and lower leaf surfaces is sparse, denser and woolly in the petiole notch area on the upper leaf surface. Leaf blade is slightly concave along the main veins and positioned almost parallel to the shoot. Main leaf veins are predominantly uncolored. Central lobe is slightly wider and longer than lateral lobes, triangular or egg-shaped with slightly pointed apex, additional protrusions are weakly and moderately expressed. Lateral lobes are triangular with weakly pointed tips, directed toward the leaf apex, angle between lateral lobe veins is obtuse. Basal lobes are moderately and weakly expressed, with arcuate veins directed toward the petiole. Base has an open, medium-depth, often cleft notch.

Teeth are large, broad, but shallow, with a clearly visible whitish "claw". Petiole is short, thick, slightly hairy, often pigmented at the base of the petiole notch.

Flowers are small, cup-shaped, pinkish. Sepals are egg-shaped with rounded apex, pinkish, curved and twisted, free. Petals are egg-shaped, fairly wide, greenish-white, separate or slightly touching. Stigma is positioned slightly below the anthers. Inflorescences are mostly medium length (4.2-6.2 cm, 7-9 berries), medium-dense, axis thick and medium, bright green, herbaceous, shiny, very slightly hairy. Pedicels at the base of the inflorescence are fairly long, decreasing to short at the top of the inflorescence.

Berries are large (1.2-1.5 g), round, black, shiny, uniform, thin-skinned, with dry detachment, containing a large number (46) of medium-sized seeds, sweet taste (4.9 points), with juicy tender flesh, universal use. Receptacle is medium, closed, falling off. Chemical composition: dry solids — 18.8%, total sugars — 9.1%, titratable acidity — 2.9%, ascorbic acid — 120.2 mg/100 g, P-active substances — 221.7 mg/100 g, pectic substances — 1.0%.

Variety is highly winter-hardy, highly self-fertile (75.9%), early-bearing, resistant to fungal diseases, moderately damaged by mite, stably high-yielding (2.5-3.0 kg/plant).

Advantages of the variety: high self-fertility, productivity, large fruit size, dessert, tender fruit taste.

Disadvantages of the variety: in recent years shows insufficient resistance to mite and double-flowered forms.
