Description DOKA
Doka F1 — an early parthenocarpic hybrid of cucumber of cornichon type, maturing in 42-45 days after germination. The plant is strong-growing with limited lateral branching, facilitating care and harvest. The hybrid features clustered fruit set, forming 5 to 8 fruits per node, contributing to high yield — up to 10-11 kg per square meter.

Doka fruits are cylindrical, dark green, 10-12 cm long, and weigh 90-110 g. They are ribbed and white-stemmed, giving them an attractive appearance. The fruits are characterized by good storability and flavor, making them suitable for various uses: pickling, marinating, and fresh salads.

The hybrid is resistant to root rot, powdery mildew, olive spot, and relatively resistant to false powdery mildew, ensuring stable fruiting under various climatic conditions. It is recommended for cultivation both in open ground and under temporary film coverings. Sowing for seedlings is carried out at the end of April, and transplanting to the ground — at the end of May or beginning of June when plants have 3-4 true leaves. Direct sowing in the ground is also possible in May-June with a recommended planting scheme of 30x70 cm.
