Sorvanets F1 — an early cucumber hybrid, intended for cultivation in open ground and under temporary plastic covers. The maturation period ranges from 35 to 48 days depending on growing conditions. The plant is determinate, 60–70 cm tall, self-pollinating, which ensures good pollination and a stable yield. Sowing seedlings is recommended in early May, with transplanting into the ground at the two- to three-true-leaf stage, typically late May to early June, with an optimal planting scheme of 40x40 cm.
The fruits of this hybrid have a cornichon type, characterized by a bumpy surface and light green color with white stripes. The length of the cucumbers varies from 5–6 cm to 11–12 cm, weight — from 80 to 100 g. The skin is thin and tender, the flesh is dense, crunchy, juicy, and aromatic, without bitterness. Due to its flavor qualities and versatility, the cucumbers are suitable for fresh consumption in summer salads as well as for pickling and brining.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including root rot, true and false powdery mildew, tobacco mosaic virus, and olive spot. It is also tolerant to temperature fluctuations and adverse weather conditions, making it a reliable choice for various climatic zones. Yield per plant reaches 4–5.5 kg, and per square meter — 10–12 kg, confirming its high productivity and economic attractiveness for cultivation.
