Description

Cucumber Brigadir — a fast-maturing, bee-pollinated hybrid with a maturation period of 45-48 days from emergence to fruiting. The plant is medium-height and medium-branched, characterized by a cluster of flower buds, where up to three fruits form at a single node. It has mixed flowering with high female flower saturation, promoting good pollination and fruit formation. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation under various conditions: in greenhouses, under temporary plastic covers, and in open ground.

Sowing for seedlings is conducted at the end of April, and transplanting seedlings into the ground — at the end of May or beginning of June, when plants reach the 3-4 true leaf stage. Direct sowing into the ground is also possible from May to June. The recommended planting scheme is 30x70 cm, providing optimal space for plant development and fruit formation.

Cucumber Brigadir fruits are cylindrical, bright green, 9–12 cm long, with large, sparse bumps and a brownish surface. Fruit weight ranges from 80 to 100 grams. Cucumbers are prized for their exceptional aroma, high flavor quality, and versatility in culinary use. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to true and false powdery mildew, root rot, and olive spot, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions. Yield per plant reaches 5–6 kg.
