DOLLAR — a medium-early hybrid cucumber from Chelyabinsk selection, intended for cultivation in open ground, under plastic coverings, and in greenhouses. This self-pollinating variety features dark green, large-warted fruits without cavities, possessing a crisp texture and no bitterness even with irregular watering. The hybrid is resistant to major cucumber viral diseases and can easily withstand both hot weather and sudden cold snaps, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions.

DOLLAR cucumber varieties are ideal for fresh consumption, pickling, and marinating, allowing you to always have tasty and nutritious vegetables at hand. Thanks to its resistance and quality characteristics, this hybrid ensures a stable and high yield, suitable for both household use and winter preservation.

For growing DOLLAR cucumbers, it is recommended to sow seeds directly into the soil or grow seedlings. Seeds for seedlings are sown at the end of March to early April, at a depth of 1–2 cm, at a temperature of about 25 degrees Celsius, and seedlings are transplanted into the soil after the threat of frost has passed. Sowing seeds in open ground is done in soil warmed to 14–15 degrees Celsius at the end of May, sown at a depth of 1–1.5 cm and covered with plastic film. The optimal planting scheme is 60x15 cm. For excellent yields, regular watering with warm water, fertilization every two weeks, and soil weeding and loosening are required. It is important to regularly harvest the fruits, as irregular harvesting reduces yield. Under proper storage conditions, seed shelf life reaches up to 8 years.
