Description SUZDALSKY
Suzdalsky F1 cucumber is a very early maturing, parthenocarpic hybrid with female flowering, beginning fruiting as early as 43-45 days after emergence of seedlings. This variety is suitable for cultivation both in protected ground and in open ground under temporary film coverings. Sowing on seedlings is recommended at the end of April, with transplanting into the ground at the end of May – beginning of June, when seedlings reach the 3-4 true leaf stage. Direct sowing into the ground at the end of May is also possible. Plants are spaced at 50x50 cm, promoting optimal growth and yield.

The fruits of the Suzdalsky cucumber are 10-13 cm long and weigh 90-120 g, featuring a large-bump structure with attractive, well-defined bumps and a brownish surface. The skin is tender, the flesh is dense and free of bitterness. Dark green in color with light stripes covering up to one-third of the length, the fruits have good storability and transportability. Up to four fruits form in leaf axils, ensuring a stable and high yield. These cucumbers are ideal for pickling, salting, and preparing fresh salads.

The Suzdalsky hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including true and false powdery mildew, root rots, olive spot, and genetic resistance to cladosporiasis. The plant shows cold tolerance and can produce a stable yield until the first frost. The variety is low-maintenance in agricultural practices and does not require pollinators due to its parthenocarpy. Yield reaches 9-11 kg per square meter, and 5-6.5 kg per plant, making it attractive for cultivation on various soil types.
