Maize VK 147 MV

VK 147 MV — this is a three-line hybrid corn (Zea mays L.), intended for cultivation as silage and grain. It is characterized by early maturity and high yield, making it attractive for various regions. The plant reaches a height of 190 to 250 cm, and the 1000-grain weight varies within the range of 260-315 g. The grain has an intermediate type with characteristic coloring: the upper part is yellow, and the lower part is yellow-orange. The average yield in the Northwest region is about 119 c/ha, and in the Volga-Vyatka region — 126 c/ha, confirming its high productivity. The hybrid is resistant to a number of diseases, including common rust and smut, as well as corn stem borer and ear diseases. For grain production, VK 147 MV is recommended for cultivation in the Volgograd region, where it shows resistance to southern gummy disease and moderate infection by bacterial and fusarium ear diseases. The plant has medium height, narrow leaves, and the ear is short, medium in length and thickness, with moderate row numbers. Due to its characteristics, VK 147 MV is suitable for various agroclimatic conditions and can be used both for silage production and for grain. Its resistance to diseases and pests reduces the risk of crop loss, and early maturity allows effective planning of agronomic measures. This hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality corn harvest.
