Maize PN 3025

Austrian Genetics for High-Yield Performance

The PN 3025 maize hybrid by Saatbau represents a standard of Austrian breeding excellence, focusing on the synergy between yield potential and physiological robustness. As a three-way cross hybrid, it leverages the heterosis effect, ensuring stable plant development and consistent performance across diverse agro-climatic conditions.

Versatile Field Application

Engineered by Saatbau D.O.O. Subotica, the PN 3025 was designed to meet the multi-purpose needs of modern farming operations. Its versatility allows it to be used across three main commercial channels:

• Grain Production: The intermediate grain type provides excellent maturity dynamics and high threshing efficiency.
• Silage Production: Its robust vegetative growth makes it a reliable choice for producing high-energy silage for livestock.
• Industrial/Ethanol Use: The starch profile of the grain meets the specific requirements of the alcohol production industry, adding value for commercial growers.

Resistance and Agronomic Integrity

A major competitive advantage of the PN 3025 is its strong defensive profile against key pathogens. By providing high resistance to both Fusarium ear rot and common smut, this hybrid significantly mitigates the risk of crop degradation, even in challenging seasons. With an FAO range of 90–1240, the PN 3025 is highly adaptable to various planting windows and soil types, positioning it as a dependable asset for both intensive management systems and more extensive farming models.
