LS PARISIANA — this is a hybrid corn of French selection, intended for growing grain crops in various climatic zones, including the Polesie, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. This mid-early hybrid with FAO 210 is characterized by high adaptability and resistance to diseases such as southern helminthosporium and stalk rot, as well as low susceptibility to corn borer. The plant reaches a height of about 280 cm, has a long ear with 14 rows of kernels and a 1000-kernel weight of about 295 g, ensuring high yield potential under intensive cultivation. Morphological features of the plant include medium intensity of anthocyanin coloration of the silk, weakly conical ear shape with a short peduncle, and intermediate yellow-orange kernels. Ear attachment height is about 100 cm, and the number of kernels per row reaches 23. Leaf blade width varies from narrow to medium, and anthocyanin coloration of the stem and other parts of the plant may be medium or strong, indicating good resistance to stress factors. The hybrid LS PARISIANA demonstrates high yield in various regions, exceeding standard benchmarks. Average grain yield reaches 55 c/ha and above, and in some regions under optimal conditions may reach over 70 c/ha. Vegetative period is about 103-112 days, allowing the hybrid to be used for both grain and silage. At harvest, grain moisture is within 20.8-27.8%, and dry matter content in silage reaches 30-35%, making this hybrid a versatile and profitable choice for agricultural producers.
