Shayan is a medium-early triple-row hybrid maize, recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Southern and Northern Steppes, Forest-Steppe, and Polesie. The vegetation period varies from 99 to 115 days depending on the region, allowing flexible planting planning. The ears have a cylindrical shape, yellow kernels, and a grain yield of 81-84%. The ear attachment strength is medium, ensuring ease of harvest.
The hybrid features a medium initial growth rate and high grain drying speed, facilitating timely harvest. The minimum soil temperature for planting is 10-12°C, which is important to consider when planning planting operations. Shayan exhibits resistance to major diseases and stress factors: resistance to common rust and corn borer, as well as lodging, is rated at 8-9 points, ensuring stable yields under adverse conditions.
The hybrid is adapted for use with sulfanilamide herbicides without restrictions and has medium adaptability to resource- and energy-saving technologies. The recommended NPK fertilizer dosage is 90-90-60, promoting optimal plant development and increased yield. Seeds are supplied in batches of 80,000 units with certification documents, guaranteeing 100% original product. Payment is made only upon receipt and full inspection of the goods.
