Description Yunga 260
Yunga 260 corn is a high-yielding mid-early hybrid with FAO 260, characterized by high ecological stability and adaptability to various agro-climatic conditions, especially in Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones. Plants are tall, reaching 230-270 cm in height, with ear attachment height from 90 to 110 cm. The hybrid is suitable for both grain production and silage, making it a versatile solution for agricultural producers. The vegetation period is approximately 110-112 days, ensuring timely harvest.

Yunga 260 is characterized by high yield, which can reach 7.2 to 18 t/ha depending on growing conditions. The hybrid demonstrates good response to optimal mineral fertilizer doses and is highly technologically efficient in commercial production and seed breeding. Grain is dent-type, with 1000-grain weight around 255 g and starch content of 72-76%, ensuring high product quality. Grain yield after threshing is approximately 77-81%, indicating high efficiency of crop utilization.

The hybrid is resistant to major diseases, including helminthosporiosis, powdery mildew, fusarium, root rots, and stalk borer, and also exhibits high resistance to lodging and stem breakage. Drought and cold tolerance make it a reliable choice for cultivation in various soil-climatic conditions, including chernozems and clay soils. Recommended planting density varies from 35 to 75 thousand plants per hectare depending on soil moisture, allowing optimization of yield and grain quality.
