KWS TASKO — an early hybrid of sweet corn, distinguished by rapid water release and stable yield. It is adapted for cultivation in all agroclimatic zones and suitable for various conditions, including fields with minimal soil tillage. The hybrid has a fixed ear type and is intended for obtaining grain with high yield potential up to 15 tons per hectare.
KWS TASKO plants reach a height of 280-290 cm, with ear attachment height of 110-120 cm. The ears form 14 rows of kernels, each containing 34 to 39 kernels. The 1000-kernel weight varies within 300-320 grams. The plant type is remontant with semi-erectoid leaves, which contributes to the hybrid's resilience and adaptability.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to stalk borers, ensuring reliable yield. The recommended plant density at harvest depends on moisture availability: 70-80 thousand plants per hectare with adequate moisture, 65-70 thousand with medium moisture, and 50-60 thousand with insufficient moisture. Seeds are supplied from Germany, in packages of 50,000 units, ensuring ease and efficiency of sowing.
