Description MAŞUK 515
MAŞUK 515 is a late-maturing double-line corn hybrid intended for grain and silage production. Plants reach a height of 240–250 cm, with ears positioned at 95–100 cm. The hybrid is characterized by a strong stalk, good leafiness with semi-erect leaf arrangement and remontancy, providing resistance to major diseases and pests. Recommended plant population varies depending on growing conditions: on dry land — approximately 55,000 plants per hectare, under irrigation — up to 70,000 plants per hectare. MAŞUK 515 has high yield potential: average yields in the North Caucasus region reach 51.5 centners per hectare, with maximum yields of 106.4 centners per hectare. The hybrid features excellent energy value of grain, making it especially popular in animal husbandry for producing feed for livestock and poultry. Due to its high resistance to diseases and pests, as well as good early development, this variety ensures stable and high-quality yields even under challenging climatic conditions. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various regions with different agroclimatic conditions, including the North Caucasus region. It is recommended for use both for grain and silage, expanding its application in agriculture. High drought tolerance and resistance to stalk diseases allow successful cultivation of MAŞUK 515 under conditions of limited water availability and increased disease risk, ensuring reliable and efficient yields.
