Maize MAŞUK 515

Reliable Potential for Late-Season Harvests

Developed by the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Corn under the leadership of Yuri Sotchenko, the "Mashuk 515" hybrid has established a solid reputation within the late-maturing corn segment. As a double-cross hybrid, it is engineered to deliver high performance in environments that favor extended vegetation periods, making it a dependable choice for producers aiming for maximum yields.

Agronomic Resilience

The standout feature of this hybrid is its genetic tolerance to common smut, a prevalent disease that can jeopardize harvests in humid or fluctuating climates. Its FAO rating of 90–1240 places it firmly in the late-maturity category, ensuring that the plant maximizes its biological capacity throughout the season.

Usage and Density Strategies

"Mashuk 515" is highly versatile, proving equally effective for high-quality grain production or nutrient-rich silage. To unlock its full yield potential, agronomists should adhere to specific plant density guidelines based on the final utilization:

• For Grain: Aim for 55,000–60,000 plants per hectare.
• For Silage: Increase density to 65,000–70,000 plants per hectare to maximize total vegetative biomass.

Choosing "Mashuk 515" means investing in a hybrid with a proven breeding pedigree, designed to provide consistent performance under intensive management. Its ability to withstand environmental stress and disease makes it a cornerstone for agricultural operations focused on high-output grain and fodder production.
