Corn hybrid P8436 is a medium-early variety with FAO 260, featuring a dent type of grain. This simple hybrid is characterized by a compact plant with optimal ear attachment, which contributes to high resistance to lodging. Thanks to its excellent water use efficiency and high drought tolerance, P8436 maximally utilizes available moisture, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions.
The hybrid is intended for grain and ethanol production, expanding its application potential in agriculture. It demonstrates good resistance to stalk diseases with a rating of 6 out of 9, and is also well-suited for monoculture and minimum tillage. Early and late planting dates are not recommended; optimal planting occurs during medium-term dates, which allows achieving maximum yield and product quality.
The recommended planting density depends on soil moisture levels: under adequate moisture, the optimal density is 65-70 thousand plants per hectare; under insufficient moisture, it is 60-65 thousand.
