The hybrid corn ES Palazzo is a dent type grain with rapid moisture release and a FAO number of 220, ensuring early maturity. The plant reaches a height of 282 cm, with ears positioned at approximately 120 cm. The ear has a conical-cylindrical shape, 22-25 cm long and 5-5.5 cm in diameter, with 14-16 rows of kernels and 28-29 kernels per row. The kernels have a warm yellow hue, a 1000-kernel weight of about 333 g, excellent quality, and high initial growth energy. The red stalk color is an additional feature of the hybrid. ES Palazzo has a strong root system, contributing to high resistance to diseases, lodging, and stress conditions such as cold and drought. The hybrid demonstrates exceptional stability and productivity under various climatic conditions, confirmed by high yield performance across different regions. The potential yield reaches 135 centners/ha, while actual yields in various regions of Ukraine vary from 93 to 120 centners/ha. The recommended plant population depends on moisture levels: 70,000-75,000 plants/ha under insufficient moisture and 85,000-95,000 plants/ha under sufficient moisture. For increased yield, the application of microfertilizers during early vegetative stages is especially effective, potentially increasing productivity by 10-15%. The hybrid ES Palazzo is suitable for grain use, but can also be used for silage production. Its high plasticity and adaptability make it an optimal choice for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones, ensuring stable and high yields.
