Maize KUBAN AIRY

Corn variety "Kuban Airy" is a medium-late popping type, intended for popcorn production. "Kuban Airy" exhibits resistance to several diseases, including southern helminthosporium, blister rust, and ear bacterial blight, contributing to stable yields and reduced losses during cultivation. However, the variety is susceptible to ear fusarium and severe damage by corn stem borer, requiring attention in agronomic practices and plant protection.

The average grain yield of this variety is about 21.4 centners per hectare, which is a good indicator for medium-late corn varieties. Due to its characteristics and kernel quality, "Kuban Airy" is widely used for popcorn production, providing high expansion ratio and attractive kernel opening form. This variety is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region, where it is adapted to local climatic conditions and soils.
