CAUCASUS 307 MV is a medium-early three-line hybrid corn (Zea mays L.) intended for grain and silage production with grain maturity of waxy type. The plant is characterized by medium height and resistance to stem breakage below the ear and lodging, ensuring reliability during harvest. The grain is yellow, dent-type, with a 1000-grain weight of about 240 grams, contributing to high crop productivity.

The hybrid exhibits drought and cold tolerance, making it suitable for regions with limited growing seasons. It shows high resistance to southern helminthosporium (up to 8 points), moderate resistance to powdery mildew and bacterial blight, but is susceptible to Fusarium and corn stem borer. Average grain yield varies by region: in the Central region, it reaches 54.1–76.2 centners per hectare, in the Ural region — about 20.9 centners per hectare, in the West Siberian region — 66.1 centners per hectare, indicating good adaptability of the hybrid to various climatic conditions.

Studies conducted in the foothill zone of Kabardino-Balkaria showed that the productivity of CAUCASUS 307 MV significantly increases with fertilizer application. Increasing mineral fertilizer doses promotes growth in stem number, grain count, and grain weight per ear, positively affecting overall yield. Thus, this corn hybrid is a promising choice for farmers seeking stable and high yields under various climatic conditions with proper agronomy.
