Corn KUBAN 315 MV is a medium-maturing three-line hybrid intended for grain production. This hybrid is characterized by high adaptability and is suitable for both traditional cultivation technologies and no-till systems. The plant is tall, reaching up to 250 cm, with a strong stem and medium-width, curved leaf blades. The ear is cylindrical, medium or long, medium thickness, with a long peduncle, forming one high-quality ear per plant, located at a height of 100–110 cm. The grain is dent type, with the upper part yellow and the lower part yellow-orange, facilitating rapid moisture removal at maturity. The vegetative period of the hybrid is approximately 113 days, corresponding to average maturity. Seeds of KUBAN 315 MV can be sown at soil temperatures as low as 7 degrees, indicating cold tolerance. The hybrid exhibits medium yield potential in the region of approximately 59.8 c/ha, which is 18.9% higher than the standard, with maximum yields reaching 113.2 c/ha under favorable conditions. Grain moisture at harvest is approximately 22.7%, meeting standard requirements. Recommended planting density is 55 to 75 thousand plants per hectare. KUBAN 315 MV possesses good disease resistance, particularly showing low susceptibility to common smut and stalk rot. Leaves are weakly erect, and anthocyanin pigmentation of various plant parts varies from absent to weak or moderate intensity. These features make this hybrid a reliable choice for cultivation in the North Caucasus region, ensuring stable and high grain yields with good technological properties.
