Maize K 350

Working with K 350

When working with the K 350 hybrid from «Ooo Sp Ssk Kukuruza», the first thing you notice is its stability. This is an interline dent corn hybrid that delivers predictable yields in field conditions, both for grain and silage. Its mid-ripening cycle allows for better harvest planning, and its high yield potential justifies the cost of the seeds.

Agronomic Advantages

• Disease and Pest Resistance: Using K 350 significantly reduces the need for excessive fungicide treatments against boil smut. A notable advantage is the genetic resistance to the European corn borer, which helps maintain stem integrity until harvest.
• Operational Efficiency: The plants are remarkably uniform. The dent-type grain threshes easily, minimizing losses during combine adjustment.
• Versatility: Whether plans for forage change due to weather, this hybrid performs equally well for both silage storage and dry grain production.

It is worth noting that this hybrid was developed by the team of Yuri Sotchenko and Anna Gorbacheva, whose breeding focus is specifically tailored to regional climate conditions. K 350 is undemanding in terms of maintenance: it responds well to standard agricultural practices without requiring complex adjustments. It is a reliable workhorse for farms seeking a balance between high-quality seed and consistent production output.
